On this guided tour, culture lovers will gain an insight into a time when the booming watch industry of the Neuchâtel Jura was responsible for more than half of the world’s watch production.

The two-hour tour begins in the showroom "Espace de l’Urbanisme horloger" in La Chaux-de-Fonds. It takes visitors along streets that run grid-like through the town. This walk alone is enough to transport you back in time and imagine how the watchmakers once worked in their workshops and runners brought pieces from one watchmaker to another.

The guided tour can be enjoyed every Sunday at 2 p.m. from May to October.
